Henry Cawood is a theatrical designer and performer from Fort Worth, TX, who holds a BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology from Texas Christian University.

Henry's multidisciplinary background in performance and dance informs his process as a fervent collaborator. His interest in novel interpretations of classic stories drives his work as an artist as he pursues projects that breathe new life into extant works.

His costume design work was nationally recognized with his selection as The Costume Society of America's 2025 recipient of the Howard Vincent Kurtz Emerging Theatre Artist Award. 

This fall, Henry will begin a tenure at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale in pursuit of his MFA in Costume Design.
